Led table lamps – Make an attractive and useful electric lamp with easily accessible materials and a lamp wiring kit. A bottle, vase, box or even stacked boxes or books can act as a base for you to run thread. Lamp kits contain wires and luminaires and lamp shades are available in a variety. You can also buy parts separately. These instructions are for a lamp with a bottle or vase as a base.
How to make a lamp
Secure the vase or bottle so that it does not slip, and drill a hole in the bottom to drive the cord. Enter the cable ends of the cord through drilled holes. Pull up and wire through the fixture tube (if using), harp bottom (if you use) and socket base. Connect the neutral wire on the white or silver screw on the socket and the warm cord to the second screw (usually a darker color). With some led table lamps, the socket is already attached. Add sand or other items to weigh that foundation, keeping in mind that the amount varies depending on the size of the container.
Mount the harp bottom (if used) and the lamp socket to the fixture tube, which extends from the base; if necessary, attach the base to hot glue. If using a led table lamps, raise the sleeves on harp arms, press the arms together so that they slide in the harp bottom, and lower the sleeves to secure the harp. Add a lamp shade: depending on the lamp shade, either place it directly on the bulb or on the threaded stud and then anchor it with the end knob in the end.
